Andrea (photogal), THANK YOU for being such a good nurse on Friday. Believe it or not, you calmed me down and made me feel a little better about my situation. At the risk of sounding like I did when I told Angel she looked like my aunt (who is close to my age and very pretty), you remind me a lot of someone else in my family (who, like that band, will remain nameless), and your bedside manner was just what I needed.

Queenie for just being SO gosh darn SWEET. I could search the world and probably not find very many people who care as much about other people as you. I wish we lived closer.
Jane and Jennifer’s sons, Michael and Blake, who were SO well-behaved. It’s not too hard to have a good six year old but pre-teens are another story. They clearly have good role models, that are COOL AS HELL. That always helps.
Paul for just being the best damn flatterer I have ever known! When Paul gives you an out-of-this-world, helacious, mother-of-all-compliments compliment, it seems SO natural & sincere! I was feeling the love big time. Right back atcha, Paul! And thanks a ZILLION for helping me to the floor Friday night, and getting my purse (or was that Blake?) with my inhaler as I near fainted, threw up, and had an asthma attack at the same time. Everyone who humored my kid. Especially Chris, who was like Mom #2 ALL WEEKEND – taking her to the car to find her purse, getting her beverages, etc. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
