Hello Glen,
I’m an 18-year-old Styx fan, have all your solo albums, and met you in South Bend, Indiana last year. I just got your new album and I really like the varied song styles. In response to the question you posed about “Roses,” yes it does sound ’80s, but that’s what makes it cool! 신용카드현금화
My mom and I got a real kick out of watching the videos; the one for “BAM!” with the Bob Dylan-esque cue cards was funny. (Has anyone else realized that the cue card thing came from Bob?) I wanted to know if the girl in the “Another” video is Darla? It looked to me like the same girl from the CD Rom pix. The woman in the “Roses” video isn’t Rosie, is it? By the way, Sally did a pretty good job with the “Cry” video too. My fave video was “Kiss Your Ass Goodbye” with you playing all the parts; hilarious!
You did a great job on Welcome to Hollywood. Let’s hope it’s not another eight years before you do your next solo album!

Hello again,
I just emailed you, but being first and foremost a STYX freak I now have a Styx question. On your discography it lists you as playing on ‘Brave New World,’ but I have no idea what or where? You’re not in the album credits at all (except the “special thanks” list). Could you give me an explanation about what went on here?
Thanks,
Andrea in Indiana

Dear Andrea in Indiana (it rolls off the tongue, ya know?), 신용카드현금화
Youre the first person who has picked up on, or at least MENTIONED the Bob Dylan reference of the BAM! Video. Initially, my concept was to try to recreate Dylans Subterannean Homesick Blues promotional film one of the very first music videos. The concept & style has been quoted often since (including an INXS video I saw once on MTV). Anyhow, I began with the idea of trying to make my own Bob Dylan video, but once Beau got involved, it began going a bit further.
Another little known detail, kind of a secret I guess, is that I played bass on one song and sang background (or izzit backround?) vocals on another on the Brave New World disc. To protect the innocent, I suppose I should resist the urge to spit out which songs, but I will tell you the one I played bass on is one of the wackier tracks, and of the one I sang backup on, Tommy Shaw has said he thinks my voice sticks out audibly in the gang vocal chorus. Both tracks are Tommys tunes, by the way. 신용카드현금화
Andrea, youre really quite a student of these kind of details, arent you? Youre very inquisitive and perceptive and you take mental notes. Very cool.
Keep up the sharp mental attention to quasi-useless trivia, girl!
Glen
